The use of thermography creates an interesting and elegent look, at an exceptionally affordable price.
The price advantage comes from the fact that multiple ink colors can be printed
during one press pass, and a 5" X 7" invitation, a 5.5" X 4.25" information card and a 4.875" X 3.5" reply card,
can be ganged onto the same press sheet.

Thermography is an embellishment, applied to offset printed materials,which causes the printed matter
to be raised from the papers surface.Much like letterpress printing, there are some design features
that work better than others do when using thermography.

Your piece will have the best results if all elements within the design have a similar amount of ink coverage.
Fine type and thin lines of graphics will perform best when we use a very fine thermography powder.
Larger fields of color must be produced using a more course thermography powder.
Only one powder can be applied per printing press pass.
Should a fine powder be used on a piece containing large solids, the printed result will render a solid area
which is blochy and textured like a piece of course sand paper. If too course a thermography powder
is used on small type and graphics the smallest of the content will not raise evenly or at all.

Thermography performs well on many paper finishes.
